Call for Entries for 2009 Silver Inkwell Awards
We are proud to open the call for submissions for IABC/Washington's prestigious 2009 Silver Inkwell Awards competition. Last year, we received nearly 200 submissions in more than 60 categories such as print, interactive, design, writing, communication planning, social responsibility, special events, and more. We expect the competition will be equally stiff this year.
All professional communicators in the greater Washington, D.C., area are eligible to enter their most effective communication projects; IABC membership is not required. Outstanding entries in each category will be reviewed by the judges for an Award of Excellence (first place) or one or more Awards of Merit. In addition, one overall winner may be awarded Best of the Best as the very finest that our profession has to offer.
The Early Bird deadline for entry submission is July 20, 2009; the final entry deadline is July 31, 2009.
To get started, please review the rules, categories, entry form, and statement of objectives carefully. Then, download the entry form and enter your work for a shot at winning recognition from your peers.
Winners will be feted at the Silver Inkwell Awards Gala on October 22, 2009, at the Ritz-Carlton Pentagon City, in Arlington, Va.
