Chapter Meetings

Our monthly chapter meetings are typically held the second Thursday of every month, except for October when we hold our signature Silver Inkwell Awards
gala. A professional development program is preceded by a sit-down dinner and ample time for networking , plus our famous “around the room” where new members introduce themselves, and both job-seekers and hiring managers share their news.

Our speakers have included local and nationally-recognized leaders in their areas, such as corporate blogger Debbie Weil, crisis communications expert David Henderson (left), and multimedia communications specialist Tom Kennedy.

This is a premium opportunity to meet the area’s leaders in business communication; if you haven’t yet experienced an IABC/DC Metro meeting, plan on joining us for the next one.
