Welcome to IABC/DC Metro!
We're pleased to introduce a new name and a new website, both designed to reflect our chapter's geographic and professional diversity, and to spotlight the many activities and services we offer our members.
But some things haven't changed. The open, welcoming spirit that defined IABC/Washington remains. In fact, it's never been stronger.
Pleaase note that like any other technically complex projects, our new website is a work on progress, and not everything is "plugged in."
For example, our Job Bank will be offline temporarily while we prepare a new, user-friendly system that allows memters to automatically post positions of interest to job-seekers in the chapter.
Other "Members Only" functions are also sidelined due to the need for revamped coding. (Don't worry; we'll let you know when these valuable member features are up and running.)
Then, of course, there are the bugs and glitches that are revealed once the developers have stepped aside, and users like you get a chance to explore the system.
So whether you're an active member, a communication newcomer, or just interested in broadening your professional network, please use this site as a springboard toward getting reaquainted with IABC. We know you'll like what you see!
